Hi
Our DW has stopped heating the water on any cycle.
Having checked the thermostat and heater they both have continuity but no power. The PCB board looks OK ( no burnt bits ).
When a cycle is selected it runs down to 1 minute then sticks there.
Can anyone suggest a fix.

You need to post the machine details on the door lip for best response (min model & E-number).

No heat issues can have several causes. What was the heater resistance? The thermostat on this model should be integrated with an NTC sensor (on the instantaneous water heater) have you checked both? Before rushing out to buy a pcb check if the machine is under-filling. A safety switch is mounted on the end of the instantaneous water heater. If this isn't being activated because of under-filling then the machine won't heat. Run another cycle. After the rinse part open the door & throw an extra litre of water in there to see if it heats then. If all else fails then your pcb is history.

Hi
The continuity on the heater and themostat reads 2.2.
There's another plug on the heater unit which tests at 2.4 (don't know what its for)
I'm trying the added water at the moment but not very hopeful as no heat as yet.

The heating element should measure around 22 - 24ohms at room temp - thermostat 0 ohms - NTC around 40k ohms at 25C (sinking to 8-9k ohms at 65C).

Hi
Added water did not work.
I've checked the continuity on the water heater when the DW was running and there all sitting at 29.
By the way cheers for your help.

If still no joy check the safety switch on the back of the instantaneous water is making when the machine fills to the correct level. If the heater, thermostat, NTC, and safety switch all check out then the only thing left is the heater relay on the pcb.....In which case a new pcb is required :(
