Bosch Classixx 1200 S Express washing machine not spinning

I have a Bosch Classixx 1200 S Express washing machine that is going through the washing program but not spinning, I have checked the filter, removed the back of the machine to check the belt is ok, I have manually moved the drum to check it can move, any ideas?


What I've tried so far?: as above (checked filter and cleaned, removed back of machine to check belt is not broken, have done an empty was at 90. and manually rotated the drum to check it can move freely.

Help appreciated.

Hi, I am pretty sure that the motor has carbon brushes, and these should be checked. If they are well worn, replacing them could be a solution.

Worth a look before considering replacing a machine.
