Hi!

I have a Bosch Classixx 6 1200 washing machine (WAE24364GB/11) which is around 5 years old. It has been working perfectly up until recently.

However, I now find that on slightly larger loads (for example, a cotton king-size duvet cover, or a few towels: still under the 6 kg maximum load though), the machine starts to emit a smell that to me smells like electrical burning of some sort (this is on the cotton cycle, but it doesn't seem to matter what temperature - it does it at 30 degrees for example).

Just wonder if anyone had any idea what this could be.

Thanks!

Robert

Have a quick look at the interference filter. I had the same thing on a hotpoint washer, unplug the machine, whip the lid off and follow the mains lead where it should go into a block or cylinder thing check the connections for and marks or melting.
