Bosch Clasixx 1200 wash cycle

I have a Bosch Classixx 1200 washing machine which is about 3 years old. It appears to go through a wash cycle normally eg. cotton 40 degrees but when the remaining time indicator shows 1 minute left, the cycle doesn't terminate as it should, but continues for a very long time, certainly far more than 1 minute. It does eventually terminate, tho' I don't know just when {have never managed to wait it out}. The washing doesn't come out smelling as clean as it used to previously. Can anyone help with ideas for the cause?

You have a heater fault needs changing.

rocks1, thanks for that. Is it an expensive part? Difficult to fit?

Cost about 20 quid , try google or fleabay , remove rear panel and Heater is down the bottom , you tube have some vids on how to change the heater.
