Bosch Dishwasher filling problems

After complaints from the Mrs I noticed my Bosch dishwasher wasn't taking enough water.
After a bit of research I took the side panel off and cleaned the water matrix and the presssure chamber.

The water appears to be going in fine now, but the motor never kicks in. It just keeps emptying a bit of water then taking a bit more. It just carries on doing this.

The model is SGS4012GB/12
