Hi

I have seen a Bosch Dishwasher (full size & Standalone) and wondering if anybody has any advice on the following

The tub / inside (correct term?) is metal, I assume stainless steel but the bottom is grey plastic, most of the other brands seem to still have metal bottom's still, as is my parents Bosch dishawasher which as around 7 years old. Does it have any impact on the durability / reliability?

The models I have seen are

Bosch Classixx SMS40C02GB
Bosch SMS40T42UK

I have seen other brands with metal bottom, Beko, Hotpoint, Whirpool

Thanks

For what it's worth I have the Bosch SPS40C12GB compact model been well pleased with it works well and quiet. That has a large plastic area in the base but that is the filter the surrounding area is steel like the rest of it.

Hi Thanks

What I am seeing is the whole base is plastic rather than just a large plastic area with surrounding steel.

Thanks

my new Siemens is like that too.

I don't know if the stainless cabinet extends underneath the plastic like a "false floor." I have an idea I saw that in the brochure but might be imagining it.
