I have a bosch double oven in a tower unit. its 20 years old but still works o'k apart from the fact that I seem to be having trouble with the fan.
I switched on the oven, no fan, heated up to 190 deg. and light went out to show it had reached that temperature. then switched on fan. after a few moments light went on to show temp. had dropped. Waited 15 mins. switched off fan and using temp control switch found that temp. had dropped to 160 deg. losing 30 deg. in 15 mins.
Have I a faulty fan, do I need a new element or what could be the problem? My wife said last week it blew the fuse box and oven did not get hot at all although I had no trouble heating it up myself.
