I just got a brand new heating system its worchesr bosch greenstar 4000 and it came with the bosch easycontrol ct200 thermostat. So first day the rads where warm but not what i expected and i thought fare enough it just needs some tweeks on the flow valves. Second day slightly warmer and i thought okay it will balance out. But today i am not convinced. I tested by turning the temp from 20c to 23c on app and it only crept up to 21 and wont climg any higher. Its not cold out yet it still wont climb. So i am thinking if its -1 out what will it even reach. I think i have the app set correctly. Has anyone any experience with this app?

Try turning it up to it's maximum setting, to see if the radiators then get really hot. That system is a clever system, which is designed to run the radiators just hot enough to meet the demand on it. The radiators should become hotter, when there is a greater demand.

So i have the temp set so at 730am the house is 20 degrees with the optimal heating it came on at 6.58am and at 735am it had still not reached 20 degrees. Now i know its only one degree out but i like things to do as thry say on the tin.

My system includes a response graph setting, I wonder if yours might have been configured a bit too low? Did you try the radiators, with the stat set to maximum?

I have no idea, you would need to read the manual for your system. On my system, you pre-set it, and it self-adjusts the value, based on the experience it gains.
I have optimum start on and it didnt bother to bring it up point 5 of a degree for me for 6pm i know its not alot but it baffles me why it wont do as its told. I am just wondering is it still learning or what

It did the other day but i decided to leave it incase it confused it if it is in its learning stages and thats why its been like it has

..and did it fully heat the radiators, to a hot temperature?

You need to put your heating system through some stress, to ensure it is working as it should first, before worrying about the controls.

I did that saturday when i was balancing the rads. It got to temp 45 mins after optimum set time. I think its just learning. Thats what i hope.

I'm not au fait with a lot of controls, but could it be the threshold setting at 20? Also, what’s the boiler flow temp set to?

Juat an update it messed about barely coming on to get temp to optimum set temp for 6pm and then it eventually got to temp 45 mins later. And since then the boiler has decided to plough on and now sitting at 22 degrees.
