Hi, I hope someone can help me.
My old Bosch 'Electronic' Fridge Freezer has suddenly developed a fault with the fridge compartment. The Freezer is maintaining temp but the main fridge compartment is not cooling.
The unit only has one compressor. I have found what i think is the thermostat in the main fridge body on left at back... small round white unit connected to two wires.
Is this the thermostat?
Could this be the culprit? Is there any way of testing it?
Where can I obtain a wiring diagram to check if this is the thermostat or just a defrost control?
The temperature control knob is outside the compartment on the top of fridge... Cannot see any way to get to this to check components. Two screws below but cannot seem to get the top of the unit off to access these elements.
Currently, the fridge temp control nob is flashing continually (presumably showing is not yet to temp) and when set to 0 causes the compressor to stop.
freezer control knob set to -18 is on (not flashing)
Any ideas.. All help much appreciated.
Andrew
