Hello, I'm a new boy with an old problem. Boiler is 7 years old and responds to controls on the morning routine 99% of the time. The evening regime is a different kettle of fish. 80-90% of the time, I get an EA error message with a temperature indication on the boiler of approx 16-17 and no sign of a green pilot light indicator. After a number of reset presses, the boiler goes into a start up routine with alternating rugby posts/temperatures indications.

The reason I write tonight is that it's taken an hour to get to the promised land. The proper function in the morning but not at night makes me think that the kit all works but that there is some sort of sensor input in the evening that isn't there in the morning. Any clues anyone?

Regards,

Yep, won't get better unless you get an RGI to look at it. There are things that deteriorate on a 30CDi Classic that will give the symptoms you describe.
