Machine not taking in water (yes, it is connected and turned on). Any ideas please.

A no fill issue doesn't automatically mean there is something wrong with the supply or inlet valve. The first thing a dishwasher does is pump out residual sump water, if it can't do that then it won't fill. Check the pump function & make sure the matrix, pressure chamber, & transfer hose are clear. There are many posts on the forum describing these issues, try the search function. If you are still stuck post again.
