BOSCH WAQ283SOGB Washing machine

I cannot check my filter as the cap doesn't turn all the way round anticlockwise. As you will see with the second photo it looks like it is only meant to be turned 1 inch either way?

I would be grateful for any help

Hope you can understand my problem as I'm trying to see if there is any debris inside that is causing a smell?

When I turn the cap to the right - up to the plastic lip - there still isn't any give?

I've looked on YouTube, it shows someone turning the cap all the way round on a Bosch washing machine, but sadly not on my machine.

I'm now thinking of going back to the shop and asking them how to do it?

Can you push it in at the same time you turn it so it clears the white plastic
