Bosch washing m/c F04 error - cleaned but not resolved yet

Hi,
Don't know if anyone can help!

Bosch Exxcel 1600 Express washing machine giving F04 message and not draining.

Have cleaned out drain pump and all internal pipes to drain but still packs in half way through wash with strained noise coming from drain pump.

Maybe it needs a new drain pump?

I didn't clean out the grey exit hose but assumed debris would be trapped well before that.

Anyhow I've run out of ideas.

If you disconnect the drain pump and check water has not got past the impeller into the internal parts of the pump.
Or I have found a silted up bottle half way along the drain pipe attached to the back of the cabinet if you disconnect it and give it a good clean it could be the problem
