Hi all

My bosch wff 2000 has suddenly start tripping out at the start of the main cycle, as soon as you hit the power button (eg the door hasn't had time to lock yet, and I can't hear pumps starting). This happens 100% of the time.

However, I've been playing around with it and have found the following:

Spin cycle works fine. Door locks, motor spins the drum, door unlocks.
Rinse cycle also works fine. Pumps etc engage, door locks and unlocks. etc.

Cold main cycle does not work.
Hot main cycle does not work.

Please note that this isn't part way through the cycle: it's immediately at the start.

I'm a bit stumped - could anyone suggest any ideas? I've taken the top off and it looks fine inside, no lose wires or anything.

Thanks for your help

You could try disconnecting the heater wires and see if it still does it. There could be a crack in the heater causing earth leakage.

Gold star that man - disconnected the heater, works fine. Got a new heater element on order.

Thank you very much for your help - I was on the verge of buying a new washer.
