Hi. I have a Bosch WFL 2260 washing machine. I have replacing the brushes and it did two washes without any problem but now refuses to turn most of the time. If I leave it for a couple of days then switch it on again then it will turn for a few seconds but then stop turning. The timer clicks and it finishes the wash cycle, but the drum does not turn. I think I have installed the brushes correctly since if I put them in the other way round then I can see it does not make proper contact with the motor armature. Please help. Many Thanks in advance.

Just to give an update to everyone. I replaced the carbon brushes again, making sure they were in the correct way. The brushes i had replaced before, were now showing a horizontal slight groove in the middle of them. I also cleaned the motor arm with very fine emery paper and contact cleaner spray. It has been 2 weeks now and the washing machine is working fine. We have done at least 5 washes. So hopefully, it should carry on working now.
