BOSCH WTE84308U tumble dryer fluff filter

My BOSCH tumble dryer keeps randomly shutting down indicating that the fluff filter is blocked when it isn't. I have cleared all the fluff from the surrounding area and the filter each time and it then runs for perhaps 10 mins before doing it again. This can happen 3 or 4 times in a row then it might actually complete the drying cycle.

Any ideas what might be wrong?
