hi all.
go a task of boxing in a few 22mm pipes. the boxing is going to be along the ceiling line so will only need 2 sides and will only need to be about 40mm wide and 60mm high.
i can get a good fixing for a batten alon the wall for the lower one but not a fixing for a batten along the ceiline line  it would only be into the plasterboard.
how do i go about it now?
thanks alot in advance for any help
ian

The total weight of the boxing that you're fixing will not be very great, probably; part of that will be supported by the batten you'll be fixing to the wall.

I'd suggest, therefore, that standard plasterboard fixings would be fine for what you're doing. But if you're still not happy about it for some reason and you've got access from the floor above, you could fix wooden noggins above the ceiling and screw through into those.
