Saw this last night and just can't fathom it. Grown men stabbing a child. Not liking this country much at the mo, that's for sure..
 
Cutting police officers, cutting support to communities, that is the government's fault.

If there one thing we can learn from history it's that austerity means more crime. About time the government started governing rather than trying to make more money.

One person's "governing" is another person's "nannying".
 
They should get all that tax money off Starbucks and the like and put that into the system.

So, expecting to have a police force to stop armed gangs hunting down people on the streets is now wanting a "nanny state"?

Well, if that is what a nanny state now is, we bloody well need a nanny state.

not a child anymore when he is on a moped,snatching your manbag or your wife's handbag and half strangling someone.Poor parenting,nothing to do with poverty,govt,teachers or fek all else.
 
A 14 year old is a child in the eyes of the law. They're still at school! Don't give a monkies how big they are, if they ride a moped, even if they go around snatching (and this is guesswork on Durhams behalf as we do not know what the lad was doing), they still do not deserve to be stabbed to death by grown men who should know better.

It has quiet a lot to do with poverty, as well as the gov (who keeps them in poverty with all the cuts), lack of opportunities, lack of education, lack of discipline, lack of the law acting as a good deterrent, as well as in some instances, poor parenting. Fed up with people who go around blaming kids. Kids, they're not mature enough to make all the best choices, nor understand all the ramifications of those choices.
 
It would be grim reading if the 14 year old was a 30 year old- cold bloodied murder on our streets

Im not blaming the kid,,I am blaming,possibly,the parents,and you are absolutely correct,I am guessing,and for sure,NO ONE deserves being murdered.
