Brass screws

Hi,
I'm looking online for countersunk brass screws no. 2 gauge 3/4" or, preferably, 1" long.
No-one seems to do them, not even Screwfix!

Any ideas please?

1/2" appears to be the largest size.

Unfortunate. I have a carpet strip separating two fairly thick carpets and underlay and 1/2" would not be long enough to hold it down. I am presently using some 3/4" screws to do this, but they have domed heads and my wife isn't too happy when she walks about barefoot!

Yes, I agree. She needs to put her slippers on!

He wants No2 screws though Sid.

You can get up to 25mm No2 in stainless, but seemingly not in brass. Maybe brass is too weak or something.

Wouldn't it just be easier to enlarge the holes with a countersink bit and fit No4 or No6 screws?

I may have to do that. Not such a big deal I suppose.
However, it's strange that I have no. 2 gauge 3/4" in brass dome head, but not available in countersunk.
And, of course, the wider they are the more noticeable they become.
