Hi all,
I am new here today, so please be kind
I am in the process of ripping out my old kitchen, knocking down some walls and making the kitchen much bigger so I may be around for a while!
The walls are now down, but my old utility room, which is now part of my kitchen, has a taller floor.
This was originally a walk way between two houses, at at some point has been made into a utility room and the floor re-concreted about an inch higher then the kitchen.
I want to remove all this concrete down to the original level (4" concrete), about 1.5" down before getting the whole new kitchen re-levelled and smoothed over.
I spent 1 hour whacking the floor with the largest sledge hammer I have and managed to remove about 1.5 sq meters of the concrete.... I have about 7 more sq meters to do.
What is the best tool to hire to help me remove this down to the correct level?
And how long do you think it will take me with the correct tools?
Kind regards
Rob
