Bricking up a doorway

Done today. I filled the terracotta blocks with a 6:1 sharp sand mortar with SBR (since I had plenty SBR) and also used that mortar to lift the first course 50mm. That offset allowed me to tie in the blockwork using 100mm masonary nails as noseall suggested. I used two per side every course, pushed in to the sharp sand fill. The blocks were laid with 5:1 mastercrete.

Hopefully no cracks tomorrow. I'm planning on plastering with Hardwall on Sunday so the wall isn't too green.
