Can I ask if I need permission for bricking up my back door in my kitchen to increase usable space. In a bungalow with two double patio doors and a Main entrance door. The large window (with opening) in the kitchen will not be be changed

Planning permission - no, but you need to ensure that you do not contravene Building Regs with regard to means of escape. If the patio doors are in a separate room, you might be compromising fire safety, which dictates that a ground floor room must have either a door to the outside, or an escape window.
Escape windows are very specific in terms of opening area and cill height above the floor, so you would need to check that first.
