I need to remove the above to replace a washer as it is leaking, how do i do this ? thanks

Prise off the chrome top cap with the back of a stanley knife blade.

Undo the screw thus exposed (probably a posidrive).

Isolate the waster supply and remove the valve body.

Do the maintenance.

Reinstate valve body, attach handle, etc.

In that case do the prising under the blue index ring, not just the chrome cover.

You say that you think the handle can't be removed, and then you suggest replacing the handle.

The head will come off dave. Most, if not all, tap heads are removable for servicing / maintenance. Persevere and I don't think you will be replacing a washer, as these heads appear to be ceramic gland type.
