British Gas glow worm 330 boiler fails to ignite

Hi,

I replaced a radiator with a towel rail, and forgot to turn off the boiler when I drained down the system.

I got the F5 error code, which I fixed by resetting the small red thermo cut-out switch, and the boiler started working fine.

However, I did this 2 weeks ago, and twice the boiler has failed to ignite and I get an F1 error code. Turning the boiler on/off seems to work. The boiler was 100% reliable before I got the F5 error code, so I am not sure if I have damaged something.

Anyone got any clues, or seen this before ?

Just call out BG....either under warranty or have you got a contract??

Can be lots of things on these, all of which is not for the faint hearted!
