Britony Combi SE Hot Water Problem

Guys,

I think I'm having problems with my Britony Combi SE boiler. While the boiler provides hot water it does not appear to stay constanly lit, instead while water is being delivered the pilot goes out before relighting (usually within a second or so). This means that the flow of hot water is interupted with cooler (or cold) water.

Would I be right in thinking that the problem might be the hot water control thermistor?

Any help would be appreciated.

Secondary plate heat exchanger is probably contaminated. It will need to be removed and cleaned !
