Hi , I think a drain be it sewerage or water runs under my back yard and I have noticed snow has melted on the block paving in a specific area ( see pic ).
Do you think a drain has broken ? , their is no water leaking anywhere as the water meter spinning indicator is still and stationary , any advice would be most appreciated , thanks

The shapes suggests an inspection cover, the top of which will be a little warmer than the rest of the area. Might one have been covered over there?

Thanks for the quick replies , I've looked on the deeds/plans of my house and according to them the nearest manhole/inspection cover is 3 gardens away , hopefully it is one but I would have thought whoever did the block paving ( It was already laid when I moved in ) would have left some access to it

Three gardens away, would seem very unlikely - there is almost certainly one around your own property. If there are other similar properties, see where their manholes are.
