My toilet dual flush button isn't working anymore, no slack on it when I push giving me the impression that something is not right. I am guessing it's the cable that is attached to the flush valve rather than the actual button (the springs on the button seem to be fine).
I am thinking of purchasing a flush valve - any particular brands that are recommended? I was thinking of the conceala ideal standard one - £20, but have seen a fluidmaster for £10. Which would you recommend?
Also, here is a picture of the cistern - would I need to unscrew the cistern to be able to replace the flush valve?
All advice greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The pictures show how to remove it, it would be easier to replace like for like otherwise you will need to replace the bottom section fixed in the cistern.
