Broken Grout

I have just regrouted due to discolouration of the original grout in my ensuite shower cubicle.

Unfortunately, after only one shower some of the grout has washed away and there is a potentially a leak.

Why has the grout washed away ?

Have I not mixed it correctly or has the grout powder gone off as it is now 6 years old ?

How long after you grouted did you use the shower?
Which grout did you use? specific name if possible?
And how wide are the grout joints?

Also, are you able to post a picture up?

Grout normally has a shelf life of 12 month max so big chance is it due to being out of date.

Hi thanks for the reply.
The grout is unibond. We waited 24 hourrs before using the shower and the grout is 2mm wide.
I will post a picture tonight.
