So a tenant moved out last month and I have only had time today to check the property out and there are some small amounts of damage until I saw a wonky radiator.

On closer inspection the bracket holding one side of the radiator was loose and after a slight push the whole brackey fell off. So one one side there is no bracket supporting the radiator.

I placed a block of wood under that side.

I called my letting agent but he wasn't picking up. I believe there is no other damage as the property has been empty for a month now and there are no leaks that I can see.

What else should I check out for in respect to other damage? How do I make sure there are no leaks?

I am not sure if I can find someone to come out. So as long as there are no leaks I am not too concerned.

Probably wouldn’t be concerned with damaged/leaking pipework then. Just feel or apply some (preferably blue) paper towel to joints, if wet, it’s leaking. If you can’t get anyone out to it, isolate the radiator by the 2 valves, open bleed vent until water stops - if it doesn’t stop, then valves are passing.

Thanks.

If you have a combi or system boiler you can check the pressure gauge.

Of course this will only be on the heating side.

You could also check the water meter moving when hot and cold are off.
