A broken underground sewage pipe that is connected jointly with our neighbour runs under our outside property.

Firstly is the cost of fixing it of joint responsibilty with the neighbour or our full responsibilty because the actual manhole is in our garden?

What kind of costs would we talking for repair and is this something that is usually covered by insurance?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

might not even be your sewer - if it's shared it may be the responsibility of your water company.

give them a call and don't give up until you talk to someone who you actually believe is not guessing or bullshitting.
