Bubbles in Dishwasher

My youngest son was trying to help and put liquid detergent in my dishwasher. Is there something I can put into my dishwasher to breakdown the bubbles without hurting my Dishwasher. Thanks in advance for your help

Allow dishwasher to fill, then change setting so that it drains. Do this a few times.
Other than that, LOTS and LOTS of REALLY greasy dishes and pans.

It's great fun when you do that! I discovered the "rabid dishwasher trick" as a student working in a restaurant. Needless to say if I soak anything now I rinse it well before putting it in the dishwasher!!!
