bubbly wallpaper after painting it

after putting lining paper on the walls, just put first coat of emulsion on and all the paper has gone bubbly can anyone help

It will usually retighten itself after the coat has fully dried.

Wait for a day and see what happens.

Just for the record its probably down to bad pasting....always make sure you paste the paper well..especially on the edges.
