Builders or sharp sand for wet patio base?

Laying a sandstone patio on top of 6inch whacked hardcore.

Can someone please confirm the mix for the wet mortar mix? And is it sharp sand or builders sand ?

Everything guitarguy said. When i did mine - sharp sand, 5:1 and paving expert is a handy resource.
