I want to build a raised water-tank that is 4ftx4ftx4ft on 65mm diameter scafollding pole structure. Got good advice for constructing scaffolding structure, but need to know how deep the concrete / dolomite base should be and how much actual concrete I will need to secure it. How deep should the hole be? In my usual over kill way, I have dug out a 3ft hole for 6 ft poles. Any advice?

I'm no expert. I make it about 2 tonnes of load, which is about what my car weighs, so I'd make it about as deep as a driveway. Probably would make the base 6' x 6'. How much concrete? No idea, is it sold by weight or volume? You probably need to work out 6x6x depth for the volume and then work out the weight of a given volume of concrete. I also believe that structural concrete is best left to cure for a month or so.
