Hello guys,

I'm after a guide for building kitchen units. I've got the basic instructions on putting the panels together, but there are loads of screws, caps and some white small box fittings left.

I know I'm going to get flamed for such a basic guide but I want to get this right, the first time.

Thanks in advance

James

Many units come with spares and extra fittings for accessories.

Post a picture of the instructions and the bits you have left over.

As Monkeh says, there's usually lots of bits left over. Some cover caps etc can be used to cover holes that aren't used for shelves etc, but you never know when you might want to raise/lower shelves, then if you've lost cover caps or damage them removing from other holes, you'd leave them out anyway.. A lot of kitchen units are generic,, ie they can be built in slightly different configurations eg drawerline or full height etc. Therefore the manufacturer supplies enough bits to accommodate the different build requirements.

currently the shelves move around with nothing holding them in place other than what they sit on. There are no pre drilled holes for them to be drilled in.
