I have a wooden electric pole in my back garden that feed multiple houses. I’m planning on building an extension and a trying to find out how close to the wooden pole I can extend to. As the pole is already close to the property I ideally want to extend to within 1meter of the pole if possible.
Does anyone know what the regs are for this?

Have they got a wayleave in place? if not you may be able to get them to move it for nothing if you were to offer to sign the wayleave. I managed that at my daughters, it was directly in front of her lounge window!
