Building raised beds with breezeblocks & depth of footin

Hey folks - phase 2 of converting the garden from it's former wilderness stae is about to begin, and the thinking half of the relationship & me have decided to make raised beds out of breeze block, then render them and limewash to finish them off.

The beds will be about 2 courses of block high (3 at a push), what sort of depth fondation / footing am I going to need to lay to support this? I've used the old cheat of using postcrete in a shalow trench for really low level walls before - can I get away with it on this? and even then what sort of depth am I looking at??

use proper concrete for them. A good 6 inches of concrete will do the job. its not very high. leave some weep holes in the bottom of the wall as well.
