Was wondering if anyone could help?
Have a single storey extension on side of the house which I am hoping to move kitchen into. Applied for building regs for the electrical and door replacement work, but was told the whole project was classified as conversion of an outbuilding, therefore bringing it under the full building regs scope.
This classification was based on the fact that the extension is only single brick despite previously being used for the toilet and utility room and attached to the side of the house.
Is this right?
Many Thanks
