Building regs on transoms?

Hi.. i'm swopping over the safety glass on a bunch of internal transoms and the one over the front door..also a main glass panel in the door itself. I understand that that last one would have to be toughened for safety regs in case someone puts a hand through it.. but what about the transoms? Are they ok with normal glass?

Current regs state that windows adjacent to a door must also be toughened as should any window with a cill height below 800mm from the floor.
 
Ok so these being above that height and above the door are exempt?

Above the door is still adjacent but it might pay you to phone BC & check.

No, the window above a door is not classed as a 'critical location' according to the diagram in Building Regs Part N.

You're not intending to put the basketball net above the door?
