Be careful though, a lot of sites don't like home made adaptors, especially if it isn't carrying the obligatory PAT test sticker.

The Reduced Low Voltage (RLV) system does not have a neutral as neither live conductor is referenced to Earth. Therefore it has two line conductors and a cpc.
