Hi

I have a built in toilet cistern with dual flush buttons on the wall.

When I flush the toilet the water keeps running as the flush doesn't seem to be able to close by itself. I have removed the top of the box wall and all it takes to stop the water is mild pressure on the plastic flush cylinder (it seems to be stuck open until I push it down)

The half flush works fine, this only happens on full flush.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

But doesn't the cylinder need to open and close to allow the water to flush? How would that happen if I put a weight on it?

My weight just helps it to close.

About 50 g perhaps!

Tony
