I don’t suppose you remember writing this back in 2010 about a Vaillant Thermocompact that would not ignite.
"Check the vantage connector lead which if not being used is usually tucked behind the pump. The auto vent leaks water down the back and shorts the plug out. C if it's wet."
Ive been fruitlessly trying to get an old chaps boiler working to warm his place up so he can get out of hospital for Christmas. Found this gem tucked away in an old posting of yours and its done the business in the nick of time.
