Hi folks, can you offer any advice on the following.
I'm planning on tiling kitchen floor but there is a trench containg 2 x 15mm copper pipes, the top of the trench is finished off with a wooden board.
What's best to protect these pipes so I can remove the wood and cement over before tiling.
Thanks in advance.

The pipes would need to be wrapped in tape if you plan to embed them. If you are tiling over then why remove the wood? Just tile over it as it is? Are there any joints (not soldered) in the pipework?

With the tiling I was just concerned about the tile adhesive sticking to the wood, many thanks for your reply.

As long as the wood is well secured down and doesn't move then you shouldn't have any issues.

Are there any non soldered joints? If so, if you are tiling over, then they are best replaced with soldered couplings
