Hi all
I am planning on putting a butler sink on the outside wall of the kitchen for cleaning out pots, etc for my wife and her green fingers.
My problem is that i am unsure of how to support it adequately. I was planning on building 2 little walls from regular red house bricks - one for each side of the sink. I am a little concerned these might not be supporting enough as I am not planning on having then toucking the main house wall as this would compromise the damp coarse.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated. I'll post up a picture of the location soon as it might trigger some other issues i am not aware of.

Many thanks
Huw

You could purchase some purpose made legs like the ones near the bottom of this link page :

or have some made by a local metalworker which should work out fairly reasonable cost wise with the advantage of having them in a style you like.
Failing that internet salvage and auction sites are always worth a look.
