Hi all

I need to replace the hinges on my polytunnel doors as the correct ones are either broken or rusted and ceasing up. What would be the best choice for something that will withstand the weather? I googled it last night and it seems galvanised, stainless steel, zinc plated, and some others that I can't remember all claim to be resistant to corrosion. But which would the folk around here recommend?

Cheers

Stainless steel. Galvanised steel is zinc plated steel, and either way it will rust, albeit slower than plain mild steel. Brass is coroded by contact with acid rain and tannin-containing timbers (e.g. oak, mahogany, cedar, walnut, etc). Bronze is impervious to most things (why it I'd used o ships), but man is it expensive
