buying carpets now...or in jan sales ?

just ready to buy a few new carpets for my house renovation etc..house unoccupied still so can either put carrpets down now or in jan..my question is am i better off waiting until jan for likely sales cheaper etc or are the big retailers giving the same discount even now ? ie carpetright etc.

Most places will offer you the Sale prices now, i doubt anyone will be able to supply and fit pre-xmas, it's the busiest time of year, most shops will have been booked up for weeks for pre-xmas fitting.

Don't be sucked in by Half Price and 70% off etc, you need to do your reasearch on what you need, what's suitable and what you should ideally be buying and what specification of accessories and underlay you need.

Generally you will probably get better advice and service through local, quality independents than going to the 'big sheds'
