Buzzing and cold shower

Just recently, the thermostatic shower has started buzzing and only delivers cold water. Turning the thermostat up makes no difference. Any ideas how to fix this?

It may be a faulty or blocked cartridge.

Buzzing noise suggests there is arcing at a loose electrical connection
