Hi,

I need to take 24v from a transformer to outside. It will run in a underground duct for 98% of the way and the rest of the way will be in an underground void (about 600mm deep)

Do i need any special cable for this? It is only to power a 24v sounder and push button and was thinking i could do it without the need of SY or armoured.

I would still give protection to the cable.

Also, what voltage drop is there on that?
