Cadburys Chocolate

The Yanks love putting butyric acid in chocolate, maybe they've started doing it over here?

I doubt it. That is an historic anomaly from when USA didn't have air conditioning and they needed a way to stop chocolate going off.

I think it's probably just that people's taste changes as they get older. Dairy Milk is too sickly sweet for me these days and I no longer like Creme Eggs for the same reason.
 
On the topic of Cadburys, we have the giant buttons only because they are gluten free.
