Can a toilet wastepipe 'bend'?

If we fit a loo on a right hand wall, and the pipe has to 'come back on itself' so to speak, can you do this?

T*rds might get a bit dizzy, but then it does help to keep em guessing.

If you use the standard slow (larger radius) bends you should be ok. A "fall" as it goes round would be a big help.
